Grab your friends and bring a bottle of wine to unplug with mud and join us for a creative night out! Have fun and get messy as we walk you through the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel. Create a unique piece of pottery, then choose your glaze option. Your fired (finished) piece can be picked up at a later date or shipped for an additional fee.

All materials and firing included. Cheese platter provided. Beginners encouraged!

This morning wheel class will focus on all things wheel from simple pots to more complicated projects like jars and teapots for those looking for a challenge.

Beginner's Wheel

Learn the entire process from preparing your clay, to throwing, trimming and glazing! If you have some experience but have been away from clay for a long time, this class will be a great refresher; and you can work at your own pace.

Enjoy a relaxing morning at the wheel. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate potter, this course is for you! Decide what your wheels goals are and receive support to achieve them.

Hand Building Thursdays
Teacher: Staci Curry

Learn hand building basics! Technics covered in this class include: coiling, pinching, soft and leather hard slab construction, appliqués, molds/forms and constructing from a template. Classes will start with demonstrations and project suggestions will be offered.

After School Clay $225 (Ages 10 - 13)

This mixed hand building and potter’s wheel class provides a fun space for making both sculptural and functional pieces. Students will be introduced to the potter’s wheel as well as coil, pinch and slab methods of constructing.

Potter’s Wheel Boot Camp $355 (students entering 6th - 8th grades)
July 17 - 21, 9 AM - 12 PM
August 7 - 11, 9 AM - 12 PM
Learn to throw on a Potter's wheel! Center, open, and pull a lump of clay into mugs, bowls and vases you can use! 

Claymation Camp $355 (students entering 6th-8th grades) Students must use their own smartphones for this camp.
June 19 - 23, 9 AM - 12 PM
Learn how to create, storyboard, and animate clay characters using the art of stop-motion animation. Campers will develop storylines, direct, and supply voices for characters. This is a multi-media experience utilizing materials such as found objects, cardboard, plasticine, and clay. After editing each camper is emailed a link to the finished videos.

PRivate Lessons

Craft lessons that focus on your particular clay interests. Lessons can focus on functional or sculptural objects and can be either hand built or wheel thrown.  

Includes

  • 1-2 hour lesson

  • Fired projects will depend on the type of lesson
